Representatives of the winners of the 2018 Progressive Taste of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon pose for a photo: Ericka Frank, The Cup (Best Cupcake); Wannisa Suriya and Devon Whitsell, Bann Thai (Best Chicken Wings); Jane Muscroft, Queen’s Cuisine Tea Room (Best International and Best Non-Alcoholic Beverage); Jamie Brewer, Edible Arrangements; Lisa Ybarra, Chavas Mexican Restaurant (Best Mexican Restaurant and Best Alcoholic Beverage); Chris England, Peel Wood Fired Pizza (Best Pizza and Best Beer); Doc and Susan Richardson, Doc’s Smokehouse and Catering (Best Barbecue and Baked Goods). Not pictured: Jilly’s Cupcake Bar & Café, (Best Ice cream). Twenty-three restaurants entered the event this year, which was held April 21. Proceeds from this years event will be given to the Glen-Ed Pantry.

This year many more of your favorite restaurants will enter the competition.  This is an excellent way for the restaurants to showcase some of their unique creations, and the public to sample them first hand.
